New Development Launch: Treasure at Tampines in Singapore
Treasure at Tampines is a 99-year leasehold development located in Tampines Street 11, District 8 of Singapore. The housing neighbourhood has been said to go all the way back to 1983 and is one of the earliest neighbourhoods of Tampines.
In August 2017, Developer Sim Lian Group Limited successfully bought the development for $970 million, which translates to $676 per square foot (psf) per plot ratio (ppr) through collective sales. A separate payment regarding the lease top up and site intensification will also have to be factored in, and it will roughly round up to a sum of $359 premium. While Farrer Court was sold for a lump sum of $1.3388 billion, the Treasure at Tampines development arrived at a sum of $970 million. Needless to say, Treasure at Tampines came as the runner-up after the acquisition by CapitaLand.
However, before the condo’s new launch, it was previously known as Tampines Court and spanned 702, 164 square foot, hosting 560 units across a total of 14 blocks. Former occupants were said to be given between an amount of $1.71 to $1.75 million.
The new launch will be able to house an estimated number of 2,000 units for its future residents.
